In the city centre, on top of the subway lines that transports thousands of people daily from the north to the south of Brussels, the AB organises about 300 great performances - theatre, dance but mostly concerts -  each year. Young artistic talent but also commercial and international heavyweights bring rock, jazz, dance, reggae, soul, rap, Flemish classics and French chansons. 

From Aznavour to Arbeid Adelt! Zappa, Zap Mama. Brel, Brassens, Barman, Bettens, Piaf and Trenet, Tura and Pawlowski, Johnny Hallyday, Françoise Hardy, Herbie Hancock, Oscar Denayer, Oscar And The Wolf. They and many others, in all genres imaginable have sweeped the AB-audience, some of them on numerous occassions.

Johan Ral has submerged himself into the fascinating history - from the 1930s up to today - of the AB and seasons this solid historical work with passionate testimonies.
