Dialectique du Monstre
This 'Dialectique' bundles the marvelous diagrams combining maps and the corporal, reliogous and astral symbols by Opicino of Canistris, functionary of the Avignon popes from 1296-1355.
The Dialectique aims to answer the questions raised by the finding of his manuscripts. at regular intervals there are inserts with translations of certain extracts, giving Opcino a voice. The book also contains around 20 colour reproductions and three fold-up illustrations that will sweep you up into the intimacies of the manuscript.
