Ecce Homo
Lieve Blancquart collaborated with Museum M in Louvain for an exposition about suffrering in which contemporary images are placed between the museum pieces. The name of the exposition is Ecce Homo - Behold mankind.
A number of photos were collected and made available as a limited edition folder. A poem by erwin Mortier was also added to the folder.
Paper Inspiration:
"The museum pieces are often exposed in beatiful, gold leaf coverd frames. In the design of the folder, we referred to this with a hot foil print combined with two toned Pantone printing. Gmund Heidi is the perfect paper for these applications and especially the foil print. On top of that, Heidi has the right 'personality', new and warm but also a bit retro so these characteristics enforce the exposition's idea of old and new."
