In this striking and refreshingly original new program book for the Royal Ballet of Flanders, the dancers and their dancing poses are in the centre of the attention. The designer combines strong and overwhelming black backgrounds with silver and vivid colours to bring the dancers to life. His use of layer contributes strongly to this effect. The designer was inspired by Michelangelo's Vitruvian and the works of professor Harold Edgerton.
